The fires may have changed the location... but they haven't changed the mission.

The 2026 March for the Fallen is still happening on Saturday, September 12th—and this year, March for the Fallen is joining forces with Step to Remember, a 9/11 commemorative event honoring first responders and their families.

With military members and first responders working side by side during the recent wildfires, it's a powerful alignment of missions.

The combined event will take place just outside

Hop Mountain Taproom and Grill, 14017 North Newport Highway in Mead, Washington.

And this year's event is going to be bigger than ever!

Come ruck, run, or walk the March for the Fallen at 9:11 AM, with Fallen Hero banners along a route created at the nearby Mead Airport.

Then stay for an incredible day of community and camaraderie, featuring a climbing wall, kids zone, bouncy castle, face painting, raffle and silent auction, barbecue, beer garden, Franz Grilled Cheese, Kona Ice, outdoor games, live music, SWAT vehicles, a Sheriff's helicopter, and more!

You can even take part in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Stepper Challenge, with a goal of 110 flights.

The March for the Fallen remains dedicated to honoring and remembering our Fallen Heroes and supporting the families they left behind.

So mark your calendar for Saturday, September 12th, at Hop Mountain Taproom and Grill in Mead.

The location changed. The mission didn't.

March for the Fallen... Some carried the weight of freedom. Now it's our turn to carry their memory.
