about the march

Typically, this is a beautiful out and back course though Riverside State Park.  It begins at the 7 Mile military training area, and continues east along the Centennial Trail, bordered by the Spokane River.  The course is lined with banners honoring post 9/11 Fallen Heroes from the Pacific Northwest, and those participating are encouraged to wear patriotic gear, carry flags, or treat it as a ruck march and carry/wear gear accordingly.

There are several options to choose from:

15k Team Ruck March (5-20 people)

Team members must provide and carry a 35lb backpack or ruck sack,

and are encouraged to fill it with food to be donated post-event.

Top Teams awarded for time, weight, and best cadence!

5, 10 or 15k Individual Run/Walk/March

Top 3 M/F from each category will be awarded.

Each participant will receive a  March for the Fallen t-shirt and a commemorative dog tag for the event.

Although each category is competitive, March For The Fallen is open to anyone who would like to run, jog, walk, or ruck march alongside the banners of our Heroes,

Honoring and Remembering their Service and Sacrifice.
